Police are hunting a man who made racist remarks to a woman before punching her.
The woman was leaving the Netto supermarket in Batley when the man bumped into her, making a racist remark.
He then followed her before punching her once in the back of the head.
A passer-by who saw the attack at 4.30pm on Tuesday, December 23, shouted out, causing the man to run from the area.
The victim was left shaken but otherwise uninjured.
The suspect is described as a white man aged between 35 and 40 and around five feet tall. He was of scruffy appearance and was wearing a baseball cap, glasses and black jacket.
