Pupils at 80 West Yorkshire primary schools served by Metro’s yellow buses have been making sure 2009 will be a date to remember.
The youngsters took part in a competition to draw pictures of a yellow bus to be included in a special Mybus calendar.
All of the 2,000 primary school pupils who travel by Mybus were invited to come up with a picture of a yellow Mybus in the season of their choice or draw the bus taking them and their friends on a dream field trip.
“The Mybus calendar for 2009 is as bright as ever,” said Bradford Councillor Chris Greaves, chairman of West Yorkshire Passenger Transport Authority.
“I’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who took part in the competition and wish all our My bus passengers a very happy 2009.”
All the winning pictures can be found at the generationm.co.uk website, along with a special competition to win one of ten copies of the exclusive Mybus calendar.
The winning Bradford pupils were Bethany Cuvelier, ten, of Sandy Lane Primary School, Jack Smith, nine, also a pupil at Sandy Lane, Shishi Rowe, eight, of Heaton Primary School and Rebekah Jones, nine, of Wibsey Primary School.
