A third and final Yorkshire show has been added to the Girls Aloud ‘Out Of Control’ tour.
Due to “phenomenal demand”, Bradford’s Kimberley Walsh and the girls have announced an extra gig at Sheffield’s Hallam FM Arena.
The girl band will be mixing old favourites with tracks from new album, Out Of Control. Their sixth album features the sound-clash of styles that you expect from Girls Aloud.
From the dancehall beats of Revolution In The Head to the Eighties electro synths of Love Is Pain and the catchy chants of We Wanna Party, it’s proving to be another winner for the country’s hottest girl band. Hailed as their best album yet, it also includes The Loving Kind, co-written with Pet Shop Boys.
“For everything else that goes on around us, singing pop songs is what we do,” says Sarah Harding. “This is why we got into music in the first place. We feel like veterans coming back with a sixth album, but we learned so much making this album and feel like we’ve still got a long way to go.”
Girls Aloud will now be at Sheffield’s Hallam FM Arena on Saturday, April 25, as well as Wednesday, May 13, and Friday, May 15, 2009. For tickets ring (0114) 2565656 or visit sheffieldarena.co.uk
