A man has been released without charge after he was arrested in connection with an armed robbery at an amusement arcade.
Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses after thieves threatened a member of staff with a knife and forced her to hand over cash during the robbery in Idle on Monday.
Two men entered the premises, in Thorp Garth, at 9am. After threatening the woman, they attacked fruit machines but were unable to get any money from them. They then fled in a stolen blue Honda Civic, registration J942JHD. It was recovered an hour later in Lynden Gardens, Idle.
A 23-year-old Bradford man was arrested on Tuesday but has now been eliminated from the inquiry.
The suspect carrying the knife was white, 5ft 10ins, skinny and wearing a dark jacket and jeans. He had a North East accent. The second suspect was white, 5ft 7ins, skinny and wearing dark tracksuit bottoms and a Balaclava mask.
Detective Inspector Peter Craig, of Airedale and North Bradford CID, said: “We would like to speak to anyone who saw that car in the two days between its theft and the robbery, or who saw it being abandoned or driven on the day of the robbery.”
