A man whose body was found in the Leeds-Liverpool Canal at Apperley Bridge has been named as Richard Keating.
The 30-year-old from Thorpe Edge, Bradford, was discovered at Dobson Lock by a man who informed British Waterways. Police were informed at 9am on Monday.
It is still not clear how he died but police have said the death is not believed to be suspicious.
An area beside the canal was cordoned off, and boat traffic along the waterway was stopped while the body was recovered and initial investigations were carried out.
A pathologist also undertook a post mortem examination to find the cause of death.
