Crime and grime are being tackled by police as part of an ongoing police crackdown.
As part of Operation Champion, neighbourhood police officers in Otley and a representative from the Council’s licensing enforcement team conducted checks on seven licensed premises in Otley, Guiseley and Rawdon.
Police have also discussed issues with residents and offered them crime prevention advice at the Sainsbury’s supermarket in Otley.
Inspector Richard Coldwell, of the North West Outer NPT, said: “This latest instalment of Operation Champion again demonstrates the impact we can have in local communities by working alongside our partners in the local authority and other agencies.
“We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who has information about people involved in the supply of drugs in the area.”
Anyone with information should contact the NPT on (01274) 471458 or Crimestop-pers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
