Mourners at the funeral of a dad-of-three who died in a road accident have been asked to wear football shirts at the ceremony tomorrow.
Relatives of Andrew Swailes, of Hollin Head, Baildon, have asked people to wear brightly-coloured clothing to pay tribute to him.
His wife Maxine, 50, and sons Luke, 22, Marc, 21, and Patrick, 17, will attend his funeral ceremony at Nab Wood Crematorium at 11.30am.
His sister Kathy Lakin, said: “We don’t want black ties or suits. We want colourful clothing and football shirts because that is what he would have wanted.”
Mr Swailes died when he was in an accident with a Nissan Navara pick-up truck as he walked near the Shoulder of Mutton pub last Tuesday.
