A pre-Christmas luxury evening in Skipton raised £300 for Riding for the Disabled.
The event at the town’s Boutique 25 Hotel was organised by the So Beautiful salon in Skipton and included a variety of pampering treatments and luxury items.
Salon owner Nicki Riley said people had been very generous, despite the credit crunch.
“I got lots of tombola prizes from the shops in Craven Court and in the end we raised about £300 for the Darren Fielden Memorial Fund, which helps pay for the keep of a dressage horse,” she said.
