The fallen tree in North Park Road, Manningham
A road was closed last night after a tree fell in Manningham and damaged a car.
Police closed North Park Road, between the junctions with Cleveland Road and Park View Road, after the beech tree fell and hit a parked Fiat Punto.
The road was expected to be closed until later this morning. Inspector Melanie Jones, of Bradford South Police, said there was no-one in the car at the time. It is believed the tree fell due to strong winds.
Elsewhere, Pasture Lane, Clayton, and Allerton Lane, Allerton, had to be closed because of flooding.
