A road has been closed after a tree fell in Manningham and damaged a car.
Police closed North Park Road, between the junctions with Cleveland Road and Park View Road, after the beech tree fell and hit a parked Fiat Punto.
The road is expected to be closed until 10.30am tomorrow.
Inspector Melanie Jones, of Bradford South Police, said there was no in the car at the time.
She said: “We will have to shut the road for the night. The tree surgeon will return in the morning at 8.30am and we will hopefully have the road open by 10.30am.”
It is believed the tree fell due to the wind.
Elsewhere, Pasture Lane, in Clayton, and Allerton Lane, in Allerton, had to be closed due to flooding.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said cars had tried to get through the water, which in places was three ft deep, and had to be abandoned.
