Detectives have released this image of a “dangerous” flasher they are hunting in relation to a series of sexual offences in Bradford.
Police described the man’s behaviour as “bizarre and irrational” and warned that he poses a particular threat to elderly women.
The suspect, who wears a dark anorak, has exposed himself on five separate occasions in the Bradford Moor area since October.
The man, who likes to strike in the morning, has been seen acting suspiciously on a number of occasions in the Silverhill Road area, close to Bradford Moor Park.
Detective Inspector Gerry O’Shea, of Bradford South CID, said: “This man has been seen mainly between 8am and 11am. His behaviour is quite bizarre and irrational.
“He has not touched anyone but we regard him as being potentially dangerous, especially to elderly women.
“I appeal to anyone who recognises him, particularly local residents, care homes or doctors’ surgeries, to contact us immediately.”
Councillor Ghazanfer Khaliq (Lab, Bradford Moor) said: “It’s certainly a concern. I would ask people to take extra care when they are walking in the area.
“If he is exposing himself, we need to worry about the children and women. If anyone sees him they should report it to the police straight away.
“It’s bizarre in many ways because we have not come across this sort of thing very often.
“Although he hasn’t touched anyone yet, it’s crucial that he is caught before he does anything more serious.”
The man is described as Asian or mixed race, in his 20s, clean shaven but with several days of stubble.
He has large protruding teeth and has been wearing a dark anorak, dark track suit bottoms with white stripes down the legs, a dark wool beanie type hat and a polo shirt with thin, light coloured, horizontal hoops on it.
Anyone with information about the offences should call Bradford South CID on 0845 6060606 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
