A 12-year-old boy was taken to hospital after he was involved in an accident with a Ford Focus in Frizinghall.

Police were called to the scene outside The Park pub, in Keighley Road, at 1.10pm today.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said the boy was believed to have suffered a broken leg.

West Yorkshire Ambulance Service sent a rapid response car and an emergency vehicle to the scene.

An ambulance service spokesman confirmed it took a male patient to Bradford Royal Infirmary.
