A teenager has been locked up pending sentence for breaching an Anti-Social Behaviour Order and carrying a knife.
Robert Hacking, 19, was remanded back into custody at Bradford Crown Court today after he admitted both offences.
Prosecutor Gavin Howie said Hacking shouted, swore and spat at police officers on August 23.
He was caught carrying a craft knife on the same day in Shipley.
Last year, Bingley magistrates imposed a five-year order on Hacking, then 17, of Hirstwood Road, Shipley.
The action was brought by Shipley Community Housing Trust and West Yorkshire Police after Hacking and another youth were identified as leaders of a gang.
The ASBO was for persistent anti-social behaviour in Hirstwood and Saltaire. The court heard Hacking was involved in threatening behaviour and abuse towards residents, damage to property, throwing stones and drinking and drug-taking in public.
Under the order, both teenagers were banned from the Hirstwood area and much of Saltaire, other than to use a permitted route to and from their homes.
Judge Jonathan Durham Hall QC said Hacking will be sentenced on January 22.
