A special calendar has been launched offering a personal insight into the lives of disabled people in the district.
The calendar has been put together by the Strategic Disability Partnership, which is made up of representatives of disabled groups in the area, as well as Bradford Council, the police, and hospital trusts, among others.
The partnership wanted to do something to recognise the contribution people with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, sensory needs and those who use mental health services make to the life of the district.
Photographs feature disabled people doing a combination of personal, unusual and fun activities. Among the pictures are a mother skating with her autistic son, a couple in wheelchairs enjoying their wedding day, a man who is a double amputee swimming in Bolling Pool and a deaf woman celebrating her graduation at Bradford University.
The calendar was unveiled, right, by the Lord Mayor of Bradford, Councillor Howard Middleton, alongside the people who feature in it.
