A man tried to force a woman into his car after he approached her.
Police are appealing for information on the assault which happened at the junction with Marlborough Road and Manningham Lane, Bradford.
The woman was approached by the man who tried to get her into his light blue hatchback.
The suspect was an Asian male in his late 20s to early 30s, 5ft 8ins tall, of a medium build, clean shaven with very bushy eyebrows.
It is possible his left eyebrow was pierced.
He was wearing what has been described as traditional Asian dress consisting of a long, white top and white trousers.
He was also wearing a dark blue Adidas hooded top which had white stripes down the sleeve.
Anyone who witnessed the assault, or who has any information about it, is asked to contact PC Ambler at Bradford South Police on 0845 6060606.
