Good neighbours are letting isolated elderly residents know the community is thinking of them this Christmas.
Volunteers are this week delivering 90 parcels of festive food and winter essentials to older people in the area, bringing them some Christmas cheer.
The parcels were packed and wrapped at the Ilkley Good Neighbours offices.
A spokesman said: “The main purpose of the parcel is to brighten the lives of those who otherwise may be forgotten at Christmas. Volunteers from the Rotary Club of Ilkley Wharfedale will make contact with each recipient as they drop off the parcel.”
