A 28-year-old Bradford man has been warned he is likely to be jailed after he pleaded guilty to raping a woman of 21.
Kashef Malik, of Cornwall Road, admitted the offence, on October 1 last year, at Bradford Crown Court yesterday.
Judge James Spencer QC adjourned sentencing until January 22 for the preparation of a probation service report.
The court heard that psychiatrists for the Crown and defence had found Mailk fit to plead.
Defence barrister Andrew Dallas said Malik’s wife continued to stand surety for him while he was on bail.
Judge Spencer told Malik: “You have pleaded guilty to a serious matter and it is likely you will be sent to prison.”
