A driver from Otley was taken to hospital by air ambulance this morning after her car hit a wall at Riffa, near Pool-in-Wharfedale.
The single-vehicle accident, involving a blue MG TF 160, happened just before 9am on the A658 Harrogate Road, on the Harrogate side of the Hunters Inn.
Firefighters from Cookridge, Otley, Rawdon and Harrogate took around 45 minutes to free the driver, who was flown to Harrogate District Hospital.
The woman, in her 30s, suffered neck and hip injuries but they were not thought to be life-threatening.
Police closed the road at 9.20am. It was reopened just before 11am.
