KL TACKLE: Man of the moment Kev Trevors made it three wins in a row at Broadhead Lane in Oakworth last weekend. Result: 1 Kev Trevors 14lb 4oz; 2 Bob Granger 14lb; 3 Dave Parkinson 12lb; 4 Royston Armstrong 11lb. Trevors now sits at the top of the league with a ten-point gap ahead of Dave Parkinson in second place and Scott Dodsworth in third. Our next match is on Sunday at Non-Go-By farm, drawing at 9am. All subs for next year’s spring/summer league must be paid at the shop before the end of December. We currently have a large reserve list and places will be offered to these anglers if subs are not received.

HEWENDEN AC: The draw for Sunday’s pike match, kindly sponsored by Bobco, will be at 9am in the car park. The match will be fished on the near side. A new season’s-best pike of 23lb 5oz was taken by Byron Pollard off peg eight on sardine. Members please note chub must not be used for live bait. Could members please park correctly in the car park, ie facing the field or backing up to the grass bank and not lengthways as this is causing problems for other anglers. The next match will be the Christmas Cheer on Sunday, December 14, drawing at 9am.
