Film crews have been in Bradford shooting the latest scenes of a gritty new crime drama.
The production team behind Red Riding – a television adaptation of Yorkshire author David Peace’s novels about the investigation into the Yorkshire Ripper killings – is on location in Little Germany.
During the first day of filming yesterday, location scouts asked residents to keep their cars away from the area because the show is set in 1980.
The episodes being filmed are from Peace’s book Nineteen Eighty and the cast includes Sean Bean, Paddy Considine, Lesley Sharp, David Morrissey and Mark Addy.
The trilogy is being made for Channel 4 and will be shown sometime in 2009.
