Charity worker Lynne Aldridge will be serving up a recipe for success when she takes part in a 24-hour ‘scone-athon’ to raise money for disabled children.
Lynne, who lives in Menston, will be baking scones from dawn to dusk in a bid to boost funds at the Elisabeth Svendsen Trust for Children and Donkeys where she works.
The trust, which is due to hold its annual summer fair on Saturday, July 27, at The Centre at Eccup near Leeds, provides therapy and riding for some 150 children with special needs in the Leeds area.
If you would like to sponsor Lynne, telephone (0113) 2619249 or e-mail est.leeds@elisabeth svendsentrust.org.uk.
