Students are preparing to fly out to South Africa to consolidate a successful schools exchange programme.
Prince Henry’s Grammar School at Otley has enjoyed an active link with Earlington School in Durban for several years. In a few weeks, 12 GCSE geography students and two teachers from Otley will fly to South Africa on a working trip which will see them attending and teaching classes there.
Earlington School will also be sending some of its students and teachers to Otley for a similar experience.
To celebrate the link between the two schools, Prince Henry’s will hold an open meeting and light buffet from 7pm to 8pm on Friday which is open to all pupils and their families from past or planned trips.
Visitors will be able to meet educators from Durban.
