East Bierley's Christmas season began with a festive lights switch-on.
The switch-on, hosted by the East Bierley Village Preservation Society, took place on Friday, November 29 and brought residents and visitors together.
The event supported the East Bierley Village Christmas Lights Appeal and featured performances by the Drighlington Brass Band and Cleckheaton Community Choir.
Santa made a special appearance to officially light up the village.
A variety of festive stalls also added to the proceedings.
All funds from the event will go towards the Appeal, which a spokesperson described as designed to ensure that "the village continues to shine bright for many Christmases to come."
The East Bierley Village Preservation Society wished to extend a thank you to attendees, volunteers, and performers.
