A food bank and charity is set to host two events for its service users in Bradford.

Feedo Needo, which supports people experiencing homelessness, will host a Christmas lunch on December 5.

The event will feature a special menu "designed to spread cheer and comfort," with local councillors, and select Chamber of Commerce members, also invited.

The following day (December 6), the charity will host an outreach event aimed at "sharing Christmas joy with those in need."

The team will distribute essential items, including sleeping bags, gloves, and hats, to service users living on the streets.

Catherine Ayomide Faluyi, project coordinator at Feedo Needo's Bradford branch, said: "These events are part of our ongoing commitment to supporting the vulnerable members of our community during the holiday season.

"The Lord Mayor of Bradford will also be attending which is very exciting.

"They embody the true spirit of Christmas: compassion, generosity, and connection.

"They come at a time when demand for services has more than doubled since last year.

"Feedo Needo is proud to be part of a community that cares and comes together to make a difference."
