A BRADFORD primary has announced it will be closed today after a risk assessment raised concerns.
Hill Top C of E Primary School on Common Road, Low Moor, said the risk assessment "highlighted concerns regarding the well-being and safeguarding of children in school".
This was "due to lack of staffing and a significant amount of sickness of staff and children".
Announcing the emergency closure, a spokesperson from the school said: "After undertaking a risk assessment with Bradford Council advisors (yesterday) evening, which has highlighted concerns regarding the well-being and safeguarding of children in school due to lack of staffing and a significant amount of sickness of staff and children, we have made a decision to close school today."
