Police have issued an update on an incident which saw armed officers sent to a Bradford house.
Police were called to Foston Lane in Fagley after a report of a firearms discharge at around 5.45am on Saturday (November 30).
They found nobody had been injured and no damage had been caused.
A police cordon was put in place to allow further enquiries to be carried out.
A police spokesperson has since confirmed no firearms discharge actually took place at Foston Lane.
However officers are investigating an offence of possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
Enquiries remain ongoing, the spokesperson said.
Armed police are used when officers are called to a firearms-related incident or another high-risk situation.
