A queue formed this morning as a popular restaurant chain with several celebrity fans prepared to open its new Bradford branch.
Despite the rain, a special offer for the first 100 customers enticed plenty of hungry customers to the new premises of fried chicken chain Wingstop.
It was confirmed in September that the fast-serve chain Wingstop would be opening a branch just outside The Broadway shopping centre in the unit that was occupied by Chilli Flames until it closed earlier this year.
Ahead of the opening at 11am, the company said the first 100 people would receive "free Wingstop".
Signs first began to appear at the unit in the middle of September, with the company's logo plastered on the exterior, featuring messages like "we run the wing game" and "Bradford flavour incoming".
Wingstop already has three branches in Leeds.
Stormzy and YouTube star KSI are just two of many famous names who are big fans of the chain.
In September, The Broadway general manager, Ian Ward, said: “Wingstop is an incredibly popular eatery and we’re very proud to say it’s chosen The Broadway to open its first franchise to Bradford."
