A BRADFORD man has been slapped with a ban after he was seen smoking a joint whilst driving.
37-year-old Benjamin Paul, of Bolton Hall Road, committed the offence of drug driving on Bradford Road in Shipley on September 4.
Forensics showed he was over the drug limit on the day.
He failed to attend his initial court date on November 18 and was arrested after a warrant was issued for him.
Paul was disqualified from driving for 14 months when his case was heard at Bradford Magistrates' Court.
He was also given a £280 fine.
A post on Sergeant Green's X account read: "Benjamin Paul, 37, of Bolton Hall Road, has been banned from driving for 14 months and given a £280 fine for drug driving.
"04/09/24 he was stopped on Bradford Road, Shipley smoking a joint whilst driving.
"Forensics showed him over the drug limit."
