ARMED officers descended on two addresses in Bradford and made arrests.
West Yorkshire Police said it attended two separate properties at 10.20pm on Thursday evening.
This was in connection with an ongoing investigation, said police.
It is believed this was in the Allerton area.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "Due to information received armed officers were deployed as part of the operation."
Two men were arrested in connection with the matter.
They remain in custody today while police continue to investigate.

"At about 10.20pm yesterday (Thursday), police attended two addresses in Bradford in connection with an ongoing investigation.
"Due to information received armed officers were deployed as part of the operation.
"Enquiries led to the arrests of two men in connection with this matter.
"They remain in custody today while enquiries are continuing."
