One local commented: “New coley , without a doubt. So helpful and their indoor forest is great. So much choice.”

Customers on Google reviews also agree, as this person added: “Lovely and reasonably priced nursery, always has a wonderful selection of Christmas Trees. Staff are pleasant and knowledgeable. Also if you join the Garden Club you get good discounts!”

Festive Farm Shed

Location: The Farm Shed, Allerton Road, Bradford, BD15 8AB

This resident shared: “We've used them for the past 4 years and they've always been great!!”

Festive Farm Shed sells various sizes of Nordmann Firs from 5ft to 12ft as well as “premium” Norway Spruces, according to its website.

ACW Garden Centre

Location: ACW Garden Centre, Canal Road, Bradford, BD2 1AL

Many others said ACW Garden Centre was the place to go for the best real Christmas trees in the Bradford district.

“Definitely ACW Garden Centre on Canal Road. Have used them for last 7 years, great trees that last. Great choice and price range. Staff have always been really helpful,” wrote this reader.

Some complimented the garden centre for its “excellent friendly service”, while customers also said the real Christmas trees are “great and last forever”.

Estate Sawmills

Location: Thorncliffe Works, Midland Road, Bradford, BD8 7DQ

Estate Sawmills was also highly praised on our Facebook post, for its “great quality trees, good value and top service”.

The fence supply shop sells “Grade A Premium Christmas Trees” from 5ft to 10ft, as stated on its website.

Robertshaws Farm Shop

On its website, it explains: “Choosing the perfect tree is one of the most exciting things to do at Christmas.

“It's a family event and our helpful team are on hand to help you choose your tree.

“We've lots of farm fresh Christmas trees in all shapes, varieties and sizes.

“Nothing beats the wonderful pine scent of a real tree."

Carlton Nurseries

Location: Cottingley Moor Road, Allerton, Bingley, BD16 1UU

Carlton Nurseries in Bingley was also among those highly praised for its quality of real Christmas trees by our readers.

The family-owned business has been run by Peter Griffith and his family, since 1999, “taking good care of the running of the nursery, which is over 80 years old”.

The Carlton Nurseries website continues: “We believe in home grown produce, so we grow as much of our own stock as we can right here in the Nursery.

“When we have to buy in, we always endeavour to purchase healthy Yorkshire grown stock, from trusted partners.”
