The Folly, in Settle, has shared details of its Christmas programme of activities.
The season begins with a special late-night opening at the shop of the Museum of North Craven Life, which is based in The Folly.
The late-night opening will take place today (Thursday, November 28) from 6pm to 8pm.
Books, crafts, ceramics, and other gifts will be on sale, as well as Christmas cards featuring historic seasonal images of Settle from the Horner Collection.
From December 2 to 20, excluding Saturdays and Sundays, foodies can indulge in a festive afternoon tea in The Folly Coffee House, from 12pm to 2.30pm.
Bookings are required 48 hours in advance, at a cost of £25 per person, or £26.50 per person for gluten free and vegan options.
Please call 01729 825185 or visit in person to make an afternoon tea booking.
On Saturday 7 December, music and spoken words enthusiasts can enjoy 'Adventus: Words and Music on the Modern Themes of Advent,' an evening of poetry and song exploring hope, peace, joy, and love with Settle poet, translator, and artist's model Sue Vickerman - joined by six-strong a cappella outfit with "radical" traditions, Bradford Women Singers.
Ms Vickerman's exhibition, 'Translating the Body,' can be seen at the Folly until Saturday, January 4.
On Friday, December 13, a sold-out performance of 'Count Magnus – Two Ghost Stories by MR James,' from Nunkie Theatre Company, will bring a brace of the classic writer's chilling tales to life.
On Monday, December 16, the Octameron Christmas Concert will take place in The Folly's Main Hall, featuring a mix of Christmas music from classical to modern favourites.
And on Saturday, December 21, visitor can get into the festive spirit at Historical Christmas: a day of festive activities "from times past," with the opportunity to make and take away a spicy pomander or sweet sugar mouse (or both), as well as sampling a 17th century hot chocolate (there will also be party games).
The Historical Christmas activity is on a free drop-in basis.
