FIREFIGHTERS saved a man and a dog from upstairs of a burning building in Bradford.
West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service (WYFRS) has revealed details of three blazes firefighters in Bradford attended in 10 hours - two house fires and one vehicle that was alight.
One of them was a property that was on fire in Newark Street, near Wakefield Road, at 1.09pm yesterday.
A spokesperson for WYFRS said: "On arrival one male casualty and one dog were rescued from upstairs by crews from Bradford and Odsal."
The units used breathing apparatus, hose reels, and positive-pressure ventilation fans to extinguish the fire.
WYFRS was then called at 3.02pm to Woodroyd Avenue in West Bowling to reports of a house fire.
Three crews from Bradford, Shipley, and Odsal fire stations rushed to the scene and discovered the fire was in the basement of the building.
It was put out by firefighters using hose reels and breathing apparatus.
The WYFRS spokesperson said: "No reports of any injuries."
Then a crew from Odsal Fire Station attended reports of a small vehicle blaze in Parsonage Road, West Bowling, at 1.11am this morning.
The WYFRS said: "We left this incident with WYP."
The Telegraph & Argus has asked West Yorkshire Police for a comment on the last incident.
