Campaigners are urging the reopening of Cleckheaton Town Hall.
A spokesperson for the Cleckheaton & Spenborough Town Hall Group said that the town hall's closure "is having a detrimental impact on both the economic and social life of the town and its surrounding area."
Francesca Whittlestone, the Cleckheaton & Spenborough Town Hall Group's secretary, explained that the group will host a cake stall on Saturday, December 7, from 10am to 12am, in the Wetherspoon's seating area opposite the town hall, in aid of its campaign.
The town hall, a listed building, is one of four town halls in Kirklees.
It is currently closed for health and safety reasons.
