A BRADFORD tailoring firm has suited and booted a "down-to-earth" boxing world heavyweight champion.
Daniel Dubois retained his IBF title by stopping fellow Brit Anthony Joshua at Wembley Stadium back in September.
Last week, IK Collections, located on Westgate in the city centre, kitted out 'Triple D' with six handmade bespoke suits.
Business owner Imran Khan met up with the London knockout machine in Mayfair.
IK Collections has made suits or jackets for a host of high-profile names including King Charles III and ITV Dancing On Ice judge Christopher Dean.
Speaking to the Telegraph & Argus, Mr Khan said: "It was my birthday last week and one of my friends asked me to come over to Mayfair.
"They had a nice surprise for me which was Daniel Dubois and his father.
"They were both lovely, liked what I did, and wanted to get some suits from me."
Mr Khan is hopeful both men will be wearing his suits at a press conference announcing Dubois' next fight in December.
He said: "They are going to a press conference next month and they are going to be wearing one or two.
"We make English suits, military stuff, tuxedos, and handmade sequins.
"He loved all the fabrics. He was very impressed.
"He bought a lovely tuxedo. He also got another chequered one and a nice summer light fabric.
"We will just get cracking on making them now and giving them to him."
Mr Khan added: "He has done really well since the Joshua fight.
"He is looking forward to the next fight."
Mr Khan was keen to chat to the heavyweight champ about the city of Bradford.
"This is a big thing for Bradford," the business owner said.
"It is putting Bradford on the map again which I am trying my best to keep doing.
"He was so down-to-earth. We talked about Bradford and the City of Culture year.
"His father and him were asking me questions like I am the celebrity. They were so sweet.
"I offered him to come to Bradford and his dad said they would love to come. They are just normal people.
"He talked about Bradford and said the best place to have curry is Bradford."
