POLICE have provided details as to why they were focused on a business yard in Bradford at the weekend.

At least four police vehicles, including a Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) van, were spotted in and around Beckside Road, in the Lidget Green area yesterday.

Officers could be seen wandering around and taking equipment from one of the force cars, including a CSI camera.

Their focus looked to be at a yard off Beckside Road.

The burglary happened in Mayfield Avenue in the early hours of Saturday.

Two vehicles were stolen.

The spokesperson for the force said: "One of the vehicles was located at a business premises on Beckside Road in Bradford.

"A scene has been put in place whilst enquiries are carried out."
