A BRADFORD hotel says it has become the "ideal stop for electric vehicle drivers seeking reliable and fast charging facilities" after installing 16 stations in its car park.

Cedar Court Hotel Bradford, also known as the West Yorkshire Conference and Events Centre, is the location for where the new Tesla chargers are now fully operational.

The Mayo Avenue establishment, located near Bradford's ring road and the M606 motorway, says the installation "underscores our commitment to sustainability and our dedication to meeting the needs of eco-conscious travellers".

The hotel adds that the Tesla charging stations support local environmental objectives and climate targets within the Bradford district.

"While their vehicles charge, guests can enjoy the relaxed ambience of our hotel lounge, complete with super-fast WiFi and a range of dining options, including coffee, snacks, and lunch," said Andrew Jones, Hotel Manager of Cedar Court Hotel Bradford.

"As an added extra, visitors charging their vehicles will receive two hours of free parking during their charging session but must register their vehicle using the QR code inside the hotel."

To celebrate the launch, the hotel is offering 20 per cent off food and beverages in its lounge for all Tesla charging station users across the next two weeks.

Cedar Court is also putting on a co-work and perk package available for professionals and remote workers.

Visitors can enjoy a dedicated workspace with high-speed internet, unlimited coffee and tea, and light refreshments for £20 a day.

The hotel says the Tesla charging stations are part of a broader initiative to position Cedar Court Hotel Bradford as a hub for leisure and business travellers, adding "these facilities seamlessly combine convenience and sustainability, ensuring that every guest’s visit is comfortable and environmentally responsible".

Earlier this year, the hotel was placed among TripAdvisor's top 10 per cent of listings worldwide.

Both Cedar Court Hotels in Bradford and Harrogate was recognised in TripAdvisor’s Travellers’ Choice Awards for 2024.

It was a momentous first-time win for the chain's Bradford hotel which underwent extensive refurbishments last year - enhancing its guest bedrooms, public areas, and dining facilities to offer a modern, luxurious experience.

More than £1 million was spent as all 130 bedrooms and 20 conference suites were upgraded with fresh carpets, new lighting, and an overall brighter look.

The hotel can host all sorts of events, from Christmas parties to weddings and meetings.
