CITY'S home game against Accrington this afternoon is OFF.
A 10.30am pitch inspection at Valley Parade confirmed that the surface was unplayable because of the heavy snowfall and rain.
Storm Bert brought heavy early-morning snow to the Bradford district – which has now turned to rain. That is due to continue throughout the day.
Bolton-based referee Michael Barlow, who was due to officiate only his second EFL game, checked the pitch and decided the game could not go ahead.
There was also a concern about the area around the stadium because of the effects of the wintry blast.
