A NEW Bierkeller bar where people can eat, drink and play games has officially opened its doors.

Bar staff at Klubhaus by the Bierkeller have poured their first pints at the newly-renovated former Rosse pub building on Bingley Road, Saltaire.

The long-standing pub has been part of the area’s nightlife scene since 1870.

Speaking ahead of the bar’s first night of opening, openings manager Brendan Manley said: "We’re beyond excited to welcome everyone to Klubhaus by The Bierkeller tonight for our grand opening.

"We can’t wait to celebrate with the community and kick off this new chapter in style.”

There will be two private karaoke rooms, regular live music, sporting events, as well as bar games like pool.

We'll also be introducing some great offers including industry discount for hospitality staff, heroes discount for service workers and our much-loved spin-the-wheel.

"We're excited to create a fun and welcoming space with a warm, community feel that we hope locals from Saltaire and the surrounding areas will love."

He added: “We’ll be offering 10-plus draught beers at Klubhaus so there's really something for everyone.”
