AN uninsured motorist with 10 points on their licence faces a driving ban.
Officers from West Yorkshire Police's Steerside Enforcement Team stopped a Jaguar car on Wrose Road, Shipley.
"The driver was found to have no insurance, this time since mid-September of this year," a spokesperson for the team said.
"They already had 10 points on their licence - so disqualification beckons at court."
It is illegal to drive a vehicle on a road or in a public place without at least third-party insurance.
Operation Steerside was formed in 2016 - two months after the Telegraph & Argus launched its 'Stop the Danger Drivers' campaign.
A dedicated team was set up three years later specifically to tackle crimes on our roads.
People can email bd.steerside@westyorkshire.pnn.police.uk to report information to the team.
Crimes can also be reported to West Yorkshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
