Wakefield-based indie artist Oliver Pinder has released his new track, 'Lonely Together.'
Made available to stream today (November 20), the track explores the importance of self-reflection and finding solace outside societal norms.
The track, which was produced by James Kenosha, maintains Pinder's lyrical sincerity while evolving to a fuller, band-driven sound.
Pinder said: "I wanted to write about being the one person that didn’t want to join in on the party.
"I remember the day before I’d bailed on plans early, my head was on overdrive with thoughts and I just wanted to crawl up in my bed and shut the world off.
"I was chatting with a friend that echoed these thoughts and I knew I needed to write something that almost celebrated that in a light-hearted way whilst also discussing some of my deepest insecurities, because at the end of the day, everyone goes through it and feels that way."
The release of 'Lonely Together' comes ahead of Pinder's largest hometown headline show yet.
He will play Brudenell Social Club, in Leeds, on February 28, with doors at 7pm.
