A MAN has been banned from being behind the wheel for three years after he was found guilty of drug driving.
Zacharia Scarfe, of New Cross Street in West Bowling, was stopped by police in Shipley back in January earlier this year.
Officers from the Shipley Neighbourhood Policing team were conducting proactive patrols at the time.
It was proven the 30-year-old was driving under the influence of a drug at Bradford Magistrates Court on Monday morning.
Scarfe was disqualified for holding or obtaining a driving licence for three years and fined £700 at the hearing.
In a post on X, Sergeant Terri Green said: "Zacharia Scarfe, age 30, of New Cross Street, Bradford was found guilty of drug driving.
"He was banned from driving for three years and given a £700 fine."
