A BIKE was seized in Bradford after its rider was spotted with a homemade cardboard registration plate on his rucksack.
West Yorkshire Police's Operation Steerside Team came across the vehicle on Cote Lane in Allerton.
The rider was also reported to court for a licence offence.
We saw this being ridden on Cote Lane @WYP_BradfordW. The rider had a home-made (cardboard & tape), barely readable registration plate attached to their rucksack! The bike was seized under S.165 RTA and the rider reported to court for licence offence.#opsteerside @OpTutelage pic.twitter.com/1YnKQrJWFq

A dedicated team was set up three years later specifically to tackle crimes on our roads.
