AN airline has announced a "significant expansion" to its offering from Leeds Bradford Airport next summer.

Jet2 has added more flights and holidays, as well as an extra aircraft.

The UK’s largest tour operator has added extra services to Majorca, Reus, Faro, Kefalonia, Zante, Bourgas, Rome, and Verona from the Yeadon-based airport for summer 2025.

The expansion means Jet2 has now added more than 40,000 extra seats from Leeds Bradford Airport for next summer - representing over 1.9 million on sale in total.

Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: “We are looking forward to a brilliant summer 25 from Leeds Bradford Airport.

"The demand from customers and independent travel agents has remained strong since we put an unrivalled programme on sale, so as Yorkshire’s leading airline and tour operator, we have once again responded by putting extra flights and holidays on sale and investing in our Leeds Bradford operation."

Tom Holdsworth, aviation development manager at Leeds Bradford Airport, said: “As Yorkshire holidaymakers begin planning their summer getaways, the expansion of Jet2’s summer 2025 programme from Leeds Bradford Airport is fantastic news for our region."
