A POPULAR curry shop in a Bradford village has launched a new takeaway offering up a different cuisine.
Future Balti has been based in Wibsey for many years and has picked up several awards in that time.
Now the family-run business is trying its hand at pizzas, burgers, and chicken.
Deuces - which also offers shakes and desserts - is operating out of the same kitchen as Future Balti on Holroyd Hill.
Faisal Arshad, who helps run both takeaways, says Deuces has already proven a hit.
Speaking to the Telegraph & Argus, Mr Arshad said: "We have called our regular customers from Future Balti and the feedback has been good.
"Everyone I have had in has only said good things.
"Someone even told me it was hands down the best pizza they have ever had."
He added: "Our selling point is customer service and the standard of our food."
Future Balti operated as a restaurant before Covid hit and then turned solely into a takeaway.
Mr Arshad's father has owned both units for the last 25 years and hopes Deuces can replicate his Indian takeaway's success.
Mr Arshad said: "Future Balti has been going really well, winning a couple of national awards in the process.
"It has come from the kick-off in fast food in Bradford and the places that are available.
"We have been thinking about it for a while. We have rearranged the whole kitchen and have been trying out food for months.
"I have spoken to other people within our trade. We feel like we have perfected all the food we do."
He added: "Deuces is completely different to Future Balti.
"It offers pizzas, smash burgers, wings, tenders, homemade desserts, shakes.
"All the cakes are handmade. The tenders are fried to order.
"Everything on the pizza except the cheese is made in-house. The dough, the sauce, and the toppings are made by us."
Mr Arshad is also looking towards the future with dreams of converting Future Balti's former home.
He said: "We have an empty 50-seater restaurant downstairs which used to be for the curry house but since Covid we have just done home delivery service, what we do best.
"If it (Deuces) takes off, we will make it into like a dinner."
