Decisions on a number of planning applications were made in the week beginning Monday, November 11.

On Monday, November 11, the City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council granted permission to applicant Paul Hardy, of Vivid Outdoor Media Solutions, an advertisement company based in Stockport, to install one 48-sheet LED illuminated advertisement board in an area adjacent to South Street in Keighley.

"At no time shall the luminance level of the advertisement hereby approved exceed 300 candelas per square metre during hours of darkness, with the advertisement to be internally illuminated with static illumination," read one part of the Decision Notice.

On Tuesday, November 12, permission was granted for the installation of "2.No DSLAM EV charging station and chargers" on land at 414832 429948 on Folly Hall Road in Bradford.

On Thursday, November 14, permission was granted for the building of a two-storey extension to the rear of Coach House in Tong Park, Baildon.

A Householder Application report relating to the extension said: "The proposal would project 5m from the original rear wall of the dwelling with a width of 6m.

"The northeast corner of the extension, in closest proximity to the common boundary with the adjoining neighbour, will leave over a 1m gap.

"Whilst the proposal is larger than the recommended depth of 4m for detached dwellings, as the dwelling sits in a large plot the proposal is not considered to appear over dominant."
