AN 18-YEAR-OLD has been arrested on suspicion of assault after a man entered Bradford Royal Infirmary with a stab wound.
Shortly before 3.30pm yesterday, police received a report that a man presented himself in the hospital's reception area with a stab wound to his arm.
Officers attended and spoke to the man, who said he had been dropped off at the hospital by a passer-by.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said the man received treatment for the wound, which is not believed to be life-threatening.
The spokesperson told the Telegraph & Argus this morning: "An 18-year-old male was arrested in connection with the incident and has been bailed pending further enquiries."
They confirmed the 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault.
