Baby Week Bradford is back for its seventh year, running from Thursday, November 14 to Wednesday, November 20.
The event is aimed at families with children aged 0 to 3, those working in early years, and anyone interested in early childhood development.
A range of family events are planned for each day of Baby Week Bradford.
These include various play events, story and rhyme time sessions, woodland walks, and nature play sessions.
The Storyland Play Day at City Library on Thursday, November 14 brought children's favourite books to life with related play activities.
The Happy Hearts Play Day at Sedbergh Sports and Leisure Centre will take place on Tuesday, November 19 and will see the sports hall transformed into a playful paradise with baby raves, treasure baskets, story sacks, sensory play, and more.
There is no need to book, and those interested can drop in anytime between 9.30am and 2.30pm.
The week will conclude with Music for Babies at Cliffe Castle Museum on Wednesday, November 20, with those interested invited to drop in anytime between 10.30am and 2pm.
The Music for Babies event will consist of a "musical adventure" featuring demonstrations of musical instruments, a music trail, craft activities, and more.
The Wiggle Room Play Bus will also make its first appearance at Baby Week Bradford, parking at different locations each day.
It will feature a ball pool, slide, tunnels, soft play, disco lights, and various play activities.
The full timetable of the Wiggle Room Play Bus is available on the Bradford Baby Week website, and stops include Shipley Market Square, City Park, Barkerend Family Hub, and the TFD Centre in Holme Wood.
In addition to family events, there are also numerous workforce events scheduled, including the National Baby Week conference (which took place on Thursday, November 14) and the 'Hooray for Play' in-person event on Monday, November 18.
Baby Week Bradford is hosted by Better Start Bradford and partners, including Bradford Council, Bradford Libraries, Start for Life and Family Hubs, NHS, Bradford District Museums and Galleries, Bradford 2025, and community and voluntary organisations.
Kerry Bennett, assistant director at Better Start Bradford, said: "This year’s theme is all around play and its importance to babies' development.
"Play helps build communication skills, relationships, confidence and independence, and important movement and motor skills, and it’s also a lot of fun."
