Emergency services were called to reports of a fire at a derelict school in the Tong area of Bradford this afternoon.
Fire crews from Odsal, Cleckheaton and Cookridge rushed to the incident at the former Yorkshire Martyrs Catholic College site on Westgate Hill Street.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service said: "We were called at 13.06 to reports of a fire at the former site of Yorkshire Martyrs Catholic College.
"We sent three crews, Odsal, Cookridge and Cleckheaton.
"This was a fire in a derelict building which was extinguished using hose reels and breathing apparatus."
The school closed its doors back in 2010 following a restructuring by the Diocese of Leeds.
