A partnership between three Bradford organisations has secured a £1.8 million per annum retender for the next five years.

The funds will enable the Survive and Thrive partnership, a collaboration between Staying Put, WomenCentre, and Family Action, to continue to provide domestic abuse and sexual violence services (DASV).

The partnership was formed in 2019 between the three organisations, and has helped more than 75,000 people with short-term work and 42,000 with long-term work in total during the period from 2019 to 2023.

Yasmin Khan, Staying Put's group CEO, said: "We’d like to thank our dedicated and hard-working partnership team and board for their support during the retender.

"We work in a trauma-informed way and we will continue to build upon, expand, and strengthen the comprehensive and successful DASV support service we have delivered over the last five years."

Councillor Sarah Ferriby, Bradford Council’s executive member for healthy people and places, added: "We are pleased to have awarded the Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence service contract for another five years to the Survive and Thrive partnership, led by local provider Staying Put who have been delivering services locally for over 23 years."

In 2023 alone, the partnership saw more than 18,000 contacts through its single-point-of-contact, 'One Front Door' helpline.
