An annual memorial service is set to honour road traffic victims.
The SCARD Oakleaf Memorial Service, in collaboration with CADD (Campaign Against Drink and Driving), will take place at Leeds Minster on Sunday, November 17, at 3pm.
The founders of SCARD started supporting other victims of road traffic collisions 31 years ago.
This year's service is open to all, but especially those who have been injured, or who have lost loved ones, in road accidents.
Attendees are encouraged to bring framed photos of their loved ones, which will be displayed around the font.
The bereaved can also write their loved ones' names on an 'Oakleaf,' and the names will be read out during the service.
The service will also see attendance from Yorkshire civic dignitaries, members of the police, fire, and ambulance services, and other supporting agencies.
A remembrance quilt, commemorating many of those who have died on the roads, will be displayed at the rear of the church.
Each piece of the quilt was stitched by members of the families of the deceased.
To have an Oakleaf completed, please ring SCARD on 01924 562252, email info@scard.org.uk, or contact Leeds Minster.
Oakleaves will also be available at the church to fill out in person on the day.
